RFQ: What is PVA Polyvinyl Alcohol ?
PVA is a White powder, also known as PVA adhesive.

What are the uses of  PVA?

- TOPLUS^® Polyvinyl Alcohol PVA is used as a warp sizing agent in the textile industry to improve the wear resistance and strength of the warp yarn.

- PVA sizing provides strong protection for pure cotton and cotton blended yarns.

- PVA the most important sizing agent for polyester and polyester-cotton blended yarns, improves the abrasion resistance and strength of warp yarns

 What are the benefits of  PVA?

- TOPLUS PVA offers excellent film-forming properties and strong toughness, effectively protecting warp yarns from abrasion during the complex weaving process. This significantly reduces end-of-breakage rates, improving weaving efficiency and fabric quality.

- PVA has excellent adhesion to both hydrophobic synthetic fibers (such as polyester) and hydrophilic natural fibers (such as cotton), making it highly versatile and particularly effective in controlling hairiness in synthetic fibers.

- PVA also exhibits excellent water solubility and desizing properties, dissolving completely in hot water and washing away without residue, thus preventing subsequent dyeing, printing, and other treatments.
