- In the coatings industry, it is used as a film-forming aid in water-based coatings to enhance emulsion stability and water resistance. As a primary co-solvent in solvent-based coatings, it regulates drying rate and improves gloss and adhesion.
- Printing inks: Compatible with inks for screen printing, flexographic printing, etc., regulating viscosity and rheology to ensure smooth printing transfer and clear patterns; improving color development and adhesion.
- Other applications: Plasticizers to improve flexibility; Industrial cleaning agents to remove stubborn stains such as resin and oil.
