Chromium oxide green refers to a dense, completely opaque, medium purity, light green pigment. A FURNACE PRODUCT, which is absolutely durable in terms of the use and condition of all pigments, including the highest temperature conditions. Compared with emerald green and phthalocyanine green, chrome oxide green has an inactive color effect, low tinting strength, and color mixing is not easy; therefore, despite its pleasant color tone, chrome oxide green is rarely used by painters. Chromium oxide green was discovered by the French Vauquelin (1797) and became a ceramic pigment in the early 19th century. It became the first paint paint around 1840 and was widely used since 1862.
